Taking Lucky Beau from a team of one to a scaling menswear brand
DTC menswear, a team of one. We rebuilt the funnel end to end, across creative, site and logistics, and matched a year of revenue on 40% less Meta spend.
The challenge
Before Elements, DTC menswear brand Lucky Beau was a team of one: its founder, Ben. He had no growth or e-commerce experience. What he did have was a small selection of quality products.
Ben had built a Shopify store and run some basic ads, which were driving decent revenue, but that only made the potential for growth more obvious. Huge gaps in the funnel, inefficient Meta spend, slow shipping times, and high return volumes. What might Lucky Beau look like if those problems were solved?
What we did
- Diversified the creative in the ad account, testing and re-testing to find Lucky Beau's audience and what they value. Street interviews, celebrity endorsements, UGC content, and high-quality motion and statics are now frequently produced.
- Rebuilt the Shopify site with a focus on elevating product pages, significantly improving landing to add-to-cart rates.
- Improved operational efficiency by finding a logistics provider to handle stock in the UK rather than a manufacturing base overseas, cutting shipping times and making returns easier.
- Built a returns and stock management system that integrates with Shopify.
"Elements have been a complete game-changer for my clothing brand."
— Ben, Founder at Lucky Beau
The result
- By July, we had matched Lucky Beau's previous year of revenue, on 40% less Meta spend.
- Cost per purchase halved year on year.
- Contribution margin (CM3) nearly tripled, from 11% to 29%.
- Returns are now fully automated, saving the founder 6 hours a week in customer service admin.
- Shipping times cut from 8 days to 48 hours.
